Drew Gertner is a Research Fellow at CREME working on a research project focused on mapping the landscape of enterprise support for diverse businesses. The research project is part of the Enterprise Research Centre (ERC), a collaborative programme of work led by Warwick Business School with Aston, Imperial and Strathclyde Business Schools as partner institutions.
Drew joined the Business School in March 2014 following the completion of her PhD at Newcastle University Business School. Her PhD research focused on incubation and new venture creation utilising a multi-level approach embracing the entrepreneur, the firm and its operating environment. Prior to her PhD, she completed her MBA with distinction also at Newcastle University. Her research interests lie in the broad area of small business and entrepreneurship and have included research into incubation and new venture creation, business support and business start-up.
