Frank joined Birmingham Business School as a visiting lecturer in 2011 and became a lecturer in 2013. He teaches operations management, procurement and supply chain management to undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is the module leader for Operations Management taught on the Executive MBA at SIM University, Singapore. Before these appointments he was a principal lecturer in operations management at De Montfort University. Frank has taught and led on a wide range of programmes, including distance learning and bespoke courses for public authorities, utilities and manufacturers.

Biography

Frank has co-authored several journal articles and conference papers in the area of operations strategy and has published a case study through the European Case Clearing House. He is also the lead author of a textbook on Operations Management.

Before entering teaching in 1989, Frank worked in a wide range of operations management roles within the food industry. During this time he obtained his MBA through distance learning with the University of Warwick.
