Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

CPDThe School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine has a longstanding reputation for running a number of prestigious taught Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses covering a spectrum of laboratory and clinical subjects, and in professions allied to medicine. Courses are delivered by some of the UK’s most respected clinicians and health professionals.

The variety of programmes includes full Masters level qualifications, Postgraduate Diplomas and Postgraduate Certificates, individual accredited modules and short CPD programmes.

Masters level programmes are usually appropriate for either full or part time study and some are offered flexibly to enable you to manage your study around home and work commitments.

If you are unable to commit to a full Masters programme, you can register for individual masters level modules which can eventually lead to a Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma or Masters qualification.  Alternatively, modules can be taken as stand-alone study, either with or without accreditation, to enable you to enhance your skills as required.

If you are looking to enhance your professional skills, then short CPD programmes could be for you. Some programmes are assessed and carry Masters level credits and some just offer a Certificate of Attendance as proof of your CPD hours. Programmes can range from 1 day to a few weeks and are delivered by some of the UK’s most respected and experienced clinicians and health professionals.
