Clara Green is a Specialist Registrar in the West Midlands Deanery who is currently out of programme working as a clinical fellow as part of the Stockley group at the University of Birmingham. She is currently supervised by Dr Alice Turner (CEM) and Professor Roy Bicknell (I&I).
Clara has over 10 publications including 5 original papers and 2 review articles in general medicine.
Clara completed her primary medical degree at the University of Birmingham and graduated with Honours in 2007. She completed her foundation and core medical training in the West Midlands Deanery obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. She started training as a specialist registrar in general internal and respiratory medicine in 2011 and obtained the specialist certificate of Respiratory medicine in 2013. She started work towards a PhD at the University of Birmingham in 2013.
Her current research centres around the shared pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer.
