Civil Engineering at Birmingham obtains Athena SWAN bronze award

athena-swan-bronze-awardThe Athena SWAN Charter promotes and rewards good practice in the recruitment, retention and progression of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) subjects. The University of Birmingham obtained a Bronze Athena Swan Award in March 2012 and the School of Civil Engineering obtained its own Award in September 2013.
