Mohammed Hadis is a Research Fellow in Biomaterials at the School of Dentistry in the Institute of Clinical Sciences. His areas of research include the interaction of light with materials as well at the biological interface. As such his research areas cover photochemistry, photobiology and photophysics.

Robert Harper is a Research Fellow in the School of Dentistry. In June 2017, he received his PhD in pharmacology and pharmaceutical and analytical sciences. The PhD project focused in the field of phosphorylated multifunctional nanomaterials in oral health. Areas of interest include nanomaterial structure based therapeutics/ mechanics, medicinal chemistry and drug delivery.

Dr Hill has  worked at the University for the last 12 years, first as a Research Fellow working on the National Evaluation of Personal Dental Services, until promoted in 2003 to a Lecturer in Dental Public Health and Behavioural Science and further promoted in 2010 to Senior Lecturer.

Neil Hinton works part time in Clinical Practice with 3rd and 4th year dental undergraduate year groups. He currently works all days Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. When not at the Hospital he works in General Dental Practice two sessions a week currently as a locum.

Mike Hofmann is a Senior Lecturer in Biomaterials and also the Admissions Tutor for the Biomedical Materials Science course.

 

Mike has published extensively in the field of bone cements, dental cements and controlled drug delivery. His research has been supported by international funding bodies, EPSRC and Industry.
