Catherine O'Flynn

The second lecture in the Birmingham Visiting Writers’ Programme took place on Wednesday 28 January 2009.  It had a Q&A format, and featured local writer Catherine O’Flynn, together with Alan Mahar, publishing director of the Birmingham-based Tindal Street Press

Catherine O’Flynn is a prize-winning first novelist:  What Was Lost not only won the Costa First Novel Award for 2007, but was also listed for every major UK prize last year, including the Booker.
