Marion Thain has undertaken editing work to support her interests in poetry of the-late nineteenth and early-twentieth century (concentrating particularly on the 1890s – see Poetry of the 1890s - and on making accessible the fascinating body of published and manuscript work by the two women who wrote as ‘Michael Field' – see Michael Field, The Poet (1880-1914): Published and Manuscript Materials ). She is also the general editor for a series of reprinted novels, ‘Late Victorian and Early Modernist Women Writers'.
Jim Mussell has edited nineteenth-century periodicals for digital publication as part of the Nineteenth-Century Serials Edition (ncse). This project raised particular methodological problems due to both the material being edited, and the medium in which it was republished. Jim has written a number of articles on both the politics of digital editing and editing periodicals.
