Using outdoor education to improve the interpersonal skills of Learners with SEBD. Do programmes of outdoor education affect school attendance?
Research Summary
My research is located with an SEBD school in the West Midlands – outdoor education is used as an intervention strategy to improve the interpersonal skills and confidence of learners with SEBD. I am using an action research design to hopefully, evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention, understand the journey of the learners through out the intervention and to reflect upon my own educational praxis in the outdoor classroom.
