Higher Education: The STEM Undergraduate Experience

Research Summary

This research considers the experiences of students studying for degrees within the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines. The research has a particular focus on the experiences of students from under-represented groups in STEM and in HE in general. The Case Study follows students through the first years of their degree, and attempts to consider how the course lives up to their pre-entry expectations, and how their attitudes and motivations change throughout their undergraduate degree
