A chance for children and young people to share their poetry about the Olympics.

A £50 book token will be awarded to the winning poem in each age category. The poems will appear in an anthology of the best poems published by the University of Birmingham. Local poet, trustee of the Poetry Society and co-director of Flarestack Poets Jacqui Rowe, will select the winning poems.

Winners and runners-up will be invited to a Poetry Café at the School of Education on Tuesday 19th June 2012 featuring award winning poet Jackie Kay.
