This presentation, by Professor Barry Schwartz, Doewin Cartwright Professor of Social Theory and Social Action at Swathmore College, USA, is part of the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues Distinguished Professors Programme.
Professor Schwartz is a Psychologist who has studied the links between economics and psychology. His current research focus is on wisdom. Find out more by viewing his presentations on the TED website.
