The School of Education at the University of Birmingham School is committed to building and maintaining strong links with local primary and secondary teachers and supporting them throughout their careers. 

Our Early Career Development Conference will bring together newly qualified teachers, early career researchers and teacher educators to network with colleagues, to engage with current research in primary and secondary education and to join discussions which re-energise and inspire you!

Speaker: Professor Ian Menter, Vice-President of the British Educational Research Association (BERA), Emeritus Professor of Teacher Education, Department of Education and Emeritus Fellow, Kellogg College, University of Oxford.

A choice of workshops throughout the day will give you the chance to find out more about recent research in your phase, your subject and in areas of broad interest.
