Views expressed on the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Green Paper

Following the publication of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Green Paper, Dr Jane Leadbetter, tutor in Educational Psychology was interviewed for BBC Breakfast. She expressed concerns about the likelihood that there will still be contention about the amount of resources available and the allocation of resources to children with special needs. In addition, Christopher Robertson’s views on the Green Paper were quoted in the Times Education Supplement (TES). The article called for a training overhaul previewed the reform programme and Chris was quoted in relation to concerns about spending cuts and whether these might significantly limit any positive changes being planned by the DfE.
