Paul Warmington is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education and Senior Tutor on the BA (Hons) Childhood, Culture & Education programme. He has taught and researched for more than twenty years, firstly in FE then in higher education. He is an Associate of HEA’s Centre for Sociology, Anthropology & Politics. He is a member of the editorial boards of Journal of Vocational Education & Training, Educational Review and Race, Ethnicity & Education. Books include Improving Inter-Professional Collaborations (2009, with Edwards et al); Atlantic Crossings: International Dialogues on Critical Race Theory (2011, with Hylton et al, eds); Black British Intellectuals and Education (2013, forthcoming).
Within the School of Education, Paul is Co-Director of Studies (Research Degrees), Programme Leader for the Research Methods Training and Module Leader for Equality and Diversity (BA Education).

Paul is also a member of the Research Committee, the Learning and Teaching Committee and Research Proposal Development Forum.
He is also a Member of the Doctoral Research Board and Diversity Lead in College of Social Sciences and a Member of the University Equality and Diversity Committee.
