The School of Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering has extensive computing facilities with over 150 PCs in four clusters.

These PCs can be used directly or to access a large multiprocessor Unix system.  The computer systems available are of a high standard. Word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphic design and web page design software is available for use by students. A wide range of technical software is also provided for project and assignment work.  This includes CAD systems for circuit simulation, programming FPGAs, PCB design, system simulation, software design and programming.

The well-stocked central University Library is nearby. You will have on-line access to the University Library, to IET, IEEE and many other leading academic journals.
