Title of PhD: Environmental Fate and Behaviour of Persistent Organic Pollutants in UK Lakes
Supervisor: Professor Stuart Harrad
Congqiao Yang’s project is part of the recently-commenced 5 year OPAL (Open Air Laboratories) project studying the contamination of English freshwater lakes by persistent organic chemicals. Using the two years’ data available to date in the research group, the project will continue to determine concentrations of PCBs, PAH, PBDEs, HBCDs and TBBP-A in samples of water, sediment core section and fish from nine English lakes.
Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science (2007, China)
