Prior to that he performed experimental work on producing “Manganese Oxide Coatings onto Sand Particles for Adsorption of Trace Metals from Groundwater” at University of Mississippi (Chemical Engineering Department) and the United States Army Corp of Engineers at Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Vicksburg, MS. His expertise is on hydrology (modeling) and biogeochemistry of riparian buffers and soil remediation techniques for heavy metals removal.
