The 1st INTERFLAME secondment commences on 15th April 2012. Dr. Mohamed Abdallah is undergoing a 3 month secondment from Assiut University in Egypt to the University of Birmingham. During the secondment, Dr. Abdallah will work on examining the influence of different surface dust collection methods on the concentrations of BFRs. He will also conduct in vitro studies of the metabolism of BDE-209.
The 1st INTERFLAME workshop will take place at the University of Birmingham 19-21 September 2012. Details will follow nearer the workshop dates.
