The School of Government and Society offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, as well as an active PhD programme.

Undergraduate degrees (BA / BSc)

The School offers a number of relevant and flexible modular programmes of study at the undergraduate degree level. These include Bachelors of Arts, Philosophy and Science; Certificates; Certificates of Higher Education; and University Certificates.

Masters degrees (MA / MSc / Diploma)

We offer a wide range of taught masters (MA and MSc) programmes, as well as Postgraduate Diplomas, Certificates and other qualifications that can be taken on a full-time, part-time or modular basis.

Masters degrees by distance learning

Study from anywhere in the world with practitioners in government, civil society and the private sector, as well as with people new to development.

Doctoral research (MPhil / PhD)

All our research degrees include an appropriate level of research training, and you work closely with a supervisor who provides guidance and support.

Professional development

We have a wide range of Continuing professional development (CPD) options from degrees to accredited short courses and seminars designed to develop the skills and knowledge of professional people.
