Consultancy and knowledge transfer

IDD has been providing high quality policy, advisory and project management services to the international development sector for over 30 years.

Our expertise and experience is diverse, both by discipline and by geography. There is no 'typical project' to which we contribute; each assignment is different, and each requires a different approach. IDD's varied portfolio of geographical experience includes countries in South and East Asia, Latin America, Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa, Eurasia and Europe.

The widespread range of present and previous clients include the United Nations, World Bank, OECD, DFID, Government of Sierra Leone, DANIDA and the Tunisian Government.

Many International Development Department staff operate in the dual role of project consultant and academic, so all consultancy work is guided by the latest thinking in the field.
