Four members of IDD staff were at the International Studies Association Conference, San Francisco, 3-6 April 2013 (http://www.isanet.org/Conferences/SanFrancisco2013.aspx).

Heather Marquette and Jonathan Fisher organised a panel called 'Politicising or Depoliticising Aid? The Political Economy of Political Economy Analysis', and presented a joint paper on 'Donors Doing Political Economy Analysis™: From Process to Product (and back again?). 

Claire Mcloughlin gave a paper on '(Re-) building State Legitimacy via Service Delivery: Beyond Institutional Approaches'.  

Nicolas Lemay-Hebert gave a paper on 'The Unfulfilled Potential of the Light Footprint Approach for Peace Missions'.
