I was a Master's student in CREES during 2011-2012. Though the graduation and completion of my degree happened only a few months ago, I can already sense that this intellectually highly stimulating time at CREES will have a lasting effect on my future endeavors.
The wide-ranging curriculum and engaging staff not only satisfied my curiosity, but for the better, kept nourishing it. So what I took with me after graduation was not only a 'nice piece' of paper but a desire for further training, a PhD perhaps. In the few months after my time at CREES, I was given the chance to intern at the German Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Uzbekistan and currently I'm developing further my Russian language skills in the Far North city of Arkhangelsk.
