CREES academic participates in video-conferenced round table on 'NATO-Russia Cooperation and Ballistic Missile Defence'

Dr Derek Averre, Director of CREES, participated in video-conferenced round table on 'NATO-Russia Cooperation and Ballistic Missile Defence' at the United States European Command Joint Intelligence Operations Center - Europe Analytic Center (JAC) at Royal Air Force Molesworth.

JAC is the primary European theater intelligence organisation responsible for maintaining situational awareness for 51 countries spanning three land masses and for primary support to U.S. warfighters, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and coalition partners. Co-presenters were Air Commodore Mark McGeown, former UK Defence Attache to Moscow; Keir Giles, Director of the Conflict Studies Research Centre; and Lieutenant-Colonel Sulev Suvari, International Staff, SHAPE. The event was video-conferenced with several US military centres in Europe.
