In the latest Guardian University Guide 2015 The School of Government and Society performed well with Politics appearing in the top 5 in the Guardian Politics league table.
In the 2015 Politics league table Birmingham is ranked 5th out of the 72 universities listed from across the country, improving it's position over last year by 5 places. This includes high performances in a variety of areas including 92% of students satisfied with teaching and 88% of students satisfied with the course.
Sociology also performed well, making it to 11th place with 77% of students satisfied with teaching.
The University of Birmingham ranked 17th out of 114 universities in the 2015 league table.
