Biography

His research interests are concentrated on the European Union’s foreign policy with a focus on the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) and EU relations with the Southern Caucasus. In this context, his research interests also revolve around relations between Russia, the EU and the US, as well as emerging regional powers such as Turkey, in relation to the Eastern dimension of the EU’s ENP. His expertise also relates to domestic policies of the Southern Caucasus countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia) and their international dimension.
