I had high expectations when I arrived at IDD to begin an MSc in International Development, but my experience has been even better than I’d hoped. I have gained much more than a qualification: crucially, I have gained confidence.
Studying at IDD has also opened up many opportunities. For example, I was selected as an Avantha International Fellow by The Aspen Institute, India, which promotes dialogue on India’s development among business, government, non-profit, and other stakeholders. The Fellowship enabled me to spend two months at the institute, conducting research and providing support in seminars and workshops. I was able to engage in discussions with diplomats, Reserve Bank governors and renowned academics. Overall, my time at IDD has been a great launch-pad for my career.
