Ed is Head of the Programming Team that develops databases and management applications for the Primary Care Clinical Research and Trials Unit.
Ed joined Primary Care in 2010. Previously he was a Senior Analyst Programmer at the Birmingham Clinical Trials Unit.
Health Informatics Within the programming team there is a health informatics research team. They focus on researching new and improved ways to support translational and clinical research within primary and secondary care. One of the aims of the research is to facilitate interoperability within healthcare information systems through the use of standardisation and innovative technologies for clinical research.
