Since joining the university, Amanda has been involved in a range of projects. Some of these ongoing areas of research include:
(1) Describing and treating post cessation weight gain.
(2) Investigating the influence of continued smoking on health outcomes in chronic disease patients (particularly cancer, diabetes, mental health conditions)
(3) Effectiveness of brief intervention for weight control in Primary Care.
(4) Effectiveness of smoking reduction programmes delivered by pharmacists and general practitioners
