Richard Breakwell is a lecturer in nursing. His clinical experience is varied, including transplant coordination (recipient and procurement), intensive care nursing, and liver and renal services.
Richard’s current area of interest is in the principles of nursing patients in the acute setting, and the educational aspects of student progression, retention and attrition.

Philip joined the NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre in August 2012 as a Research Associate (Analyst) and is a member of the pharmaceutical team. He graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2008 with an honours degree in Anatomy and Human Biology. Philip is also a qualified physiotherapist having completed his MSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham in 2011.
