Tracey Genus is a Horizon analyst for the NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre.


  • MSc in Cancer Sciences, University College London.
  • BSc (Hons) in Biological Chemistry, University of Leicester.


Tracey started her career working as a research scientist in the microbiology department of Unilever Research, Colworth, Bedford. She has since undertaken a research post in cancer genetics at the University of Birmingham and prior to undertaking her current role worked at the West Midlands Cancer Intelligence Unit.
