Duncan Nekeman is interested in the quality of life of newly diagnosed bladder cancer patients and how it relates to a number of factors, e.g. demographic charateristics, treatment characteristics, recurrence, progression, survival.

Biography
During his undergraduate degree Duncan soon found out that research was what he was interested in and therefore decided to do a MSc degree in Epidemiology. During this degree Duncan did a placement at the University of Birmingham where he felt right at home doing research into the genetics of prostate cancer. After this he took up his current post as a PhD student looking into the quality of life in newly diagnosed bladder cancer patients within the BCPP project
