Jacky Conduit is a lecturer in Nursing & Physiotherapy. She leads a small team of physiotherapy staff who have responsibility for physiotherapy practice education.
Her activities have a strong education focus. As well as delivery and assessment of learning and teaching across a range of levels, Jacky has experience in new programme development, course evaluation and design and quality monitoring. She has been involved in a number of programme, subject and School quality reviews, both physiotherapy subject specific and across other subject areas
Jacky has a particular interest in physiotherapy practice education. This is demonstrated through her work with students and practice educators both in the University and in the clinical workplace.

Biography
Jacky Conduit qualified as a physiotherapist and worked clinically for a number of years in the UK before moving into physiotherapy education in 1978. She has worked in a number of HEIs, with experience in all aspects of physiotherapy programme and module development, delivery, assessment and evaluation, and was BSc Physiotherapy Admissions Tutor prior to her current role.
Jacky, in her current role as Lead for Physiotherapy Practice Education, manages a team of five physiotherapy clinical tutors supporting physiotherapy students’ practice education. The output of this team work has included the development of a practice placement website (www.clinicalphysio.bham.ac.uk ).
Jacky is also the Quality Lead and Fitness to Practice (FtP) Investigating Officer for Physiotherapy.
