Janette joined The NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre in January 2008 and is currently working as part of a team which concentrates on identifying emerging MedTechs including devices and diagnostics.

Biography
Before working for The NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre Janette worked in the scientific services sector in various administrative roles. From 2009 to 2011 Janette studied part-time towards a post-graduate certificate in Evidence Based Healthcare and Health Technology Assessment with The University of Birmingham.
Teaching
Janette has facilitated small group sessions for undergraduate medical students on social determinants of health, systematic reviews, maternal health and clinical epidemiology.
