Angaja Phalguni qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006, in India, where she worked for a year mainly involved in the rehabilitation of people with paralysis. In 2008 she completed her post graduation in Public Health from University of Warwick. For a brief period She was involved in various projects in India aimed at tackling core public health issues like rural health delivery system, HIV.
Angaja joined NHSC in 2009. Her main tasks included identifying new and emerging drugs that can have a significant impact on patients and NHS and writing briefing reports on prioritised technologies. Since 2011 she has been involved in writing technology and disease specific reviews.
