Eurydice Georganteli studied art, archaeology and numismatics in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Oxford. Between 1993 and 1998 she worked for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, as well as special research assistant in the Department of Coins and Medals, British Museum.
While in Greece, she taught numismatics and history of art in higher and academic institutions, led educational programmes on Byzantine art and archaeology, and collaborated with Channel 3 on a series of documentary films. She has held fellowships at Oxford University (A.G. Leventis and Bodossakis Scholarships), Harvard University (Byzantine Fellow, Dumbarton Oaks Centre, Washington D.C.), University of Cambridge (Robinson Scholar in Numismatics, Fitzwilliam Museum and Wolfson College) and the Clore Leadership Programme.
Eurydice has been a Visiting Lecturer at Queen’s University, Belfast, and contributes to the MBA programme of the University of Birmingham Business School.
