Join us for an evening lecture on ‘The British State: Past, Present, and Future’, to be delivered by Professor David Eastwood, Vice–Chancellor of the University of Birmingham. At a time of unprecedented global change this lecture will reflect on times past and lessons for Britain's future.

This event is part of the Vice–Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture Series at the University of Birmingham, which attracts leading intellectuals to focus on the major social, cultural, and policy issues of our time.
