furnace is the Postgraduate Journal of the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage, edited by doctoral researchers in the department. furnace aims to be a facilitator for sparking debates and discussions surrounding the ever expanding and diverse discipline of Cultural Heritage.

The theme of the 6th issue of the IIICH Postgraduate journal furnace is World Heritage and Tourism. The editors are seeking submissions with a focus on exploring the relationship between tourism and world heritage.
