James-Watt

2019 marks the 200th anniversary of the death of James Watt. This symposium brings together scholars, curators, archivists and students who are interested in the man and his legacy.

The James Watt Symposium will chart the current state of academic research around James Watt and also explores available resources in archives, libraries and museums in England and Scotland. The event sets research agendas and outlines possibilities for future collaborative work between academics, heritage organisations, learned societies and the wider community.
