Expert unearths evidence of mass graves at Treblinka death camp
Description
British forensic archaeologist (and Birmingham PhD student) Caroline Stury Colls and her team from the University of Birmingham have unearthed fresh evidence to prove the existance of mass-graves at the Nazi death camp. Caroline's research will be explored further in a forthcoming BBC Radio 4 documentary, The Hidden Graves of the Holocaust on Monday 23 January at 8pm.

Discovery shows early humans leaving Africa earlier than previously thought
Description
A new discovery out of Africa finds that early humans living in Africa may have left the continent earlier than previously thought. The expedition, which is led by Dr. Jeffrey Rose, Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, reportedly discovered stone. artifacts at least 100,000 years old from the Arabian Desert.
