Marie Curie Fellow of the Gerda Henkel Stiftung - Dr Amanda Phillips

Description
Research Fellow joins CBOMGS on a two-year fellowship sponsored by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung. Dr Amanda Phillips' project focuses on the role of objects in everyday life in the Ottoman Empire between 1600 and 1800.

Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in the Reception of the Ancient World

The Annual Meeting of Postgraduates in the Reception of the Ancient World (AMPRAW) will take place at the University of Birmingham is a two-day postgraduate conference which will take place on the 10th and 11th of December 2012 in the University's Arts building. One of the keynote speakers is Dr Elena Theodorakopoulos who teaches Classics at Birmingham.
