JUST CONFIRMED - FOR ONE DAY ONLY:
Meet the Scientist at Thinktank on Thursday 31st October 2013
Scientists, nurses and doctors from the University of Birmingham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital will once again be descending on Birmingham's Thinktank at Millenium Point this autumn half term, for one day only. With particular focus on how viruses work and the how the liver functions, there will be loads of hands-on activities to keep children entertained. They can dress up like a scientist and take part in fun, educational and safe experiments which will be run by real scientists and nurses, and ask as many questions as they like - our team are ready to be challenged!
This is the ideal day out for any budding scientist, nurse or doctor, or for children with inquisitive minds who like hands-on messy and fun experiments!
Adults, we also have some activities for you to take part in (and they may just shock you!).
For more information on Meet the Scientist activities email the Centre for Liver Research.
