Senior Lecturer in Immunity and Infection

Graham Wallace is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Immunity and Infection. 

Graham has published over 75 research papers in scientific journals as well as reviews in the fields of ocular immunology, Behcet’s Disease and immunogenetics. He has received grants from Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Fight for Sight, and the Wellcome Trust.

Marks research is focused on antimicrobial action and resistance with specific interests in bacterial evolution in response to stress, mechanisms of biofilm formation and transferrable resistance as well as numerous other smaller areas of study. Mark co-heads the Antimicrobials Research Group with Professor Laura Piddock.

Mr Geraint Williams

NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Ophthalmology

Geraint Williams is an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Ophthalmology. His sub-specialist area is in cornea and external disease, with an interest in ocular surface immunity and infection. He was awarded a Wellcome Trust clinical research fellowship in 2008 and completed his PhD in Immune Regulation of Acquired Ocular Immunobullous Disease in 2012.
