Birmingham Law School rises in league tables

Birmingham Law School is in the top 15 for Law according to the latest Guardian University Guide, and is in the top 100 law schools in the world, underlying Birmingham’s reputation as an excellent destination for those wishing to study law.

Birmingham Law School has seen an impressive rise across league tables this year, rising 12 places in the Guardian and 6 places in the Complete University Guide. This rise in rankings reflects the diverse and excellent teaching that is offered at Birmingham across a range of degree programmes, the world-leading research undertaken by our faculty members, and the excellent reputation we enjoy among employers. 

Professor Robert Lee, Head of School added “Our continued improved performance in league tables and rankings this year is testament to the outstanding student experience that our students receive whilst studying with us, the quality of our teaching and the excellent research that takes place here. These recent rankings confirm our place as one of the top UK law schools and one of the top law schools in the world.”

Birmingham is now ranked 13th in the Guardian University Guide, 18th in the Complete University Guide, 24th in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, and joint 11th in the UK in the QS World Rankings.
