The University of Birmingham currently has a population of 30 Mauritian students following a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We currently have 3 LLB students from Mauritius studying in the Law School and look forward to building on these numbers in future years.
The UK is the home of Common Law and traditional universities such as Birmingham carry a powerful international reputation leading to enhanced job prospects.
Birmingham Law School visit Mauritius to speak to interested students in February each year. Details of the 2014 visit will be posted here when they become available.
Entry requirements
Undergraduate programmes

Grades AAA at A-Level. As the LNAT centre in Mauritius has closed we will not require the LNAT test to be considered.
Postgraduate programmes

2:1 in an LLB degree or equivalent. We will also consider high 2:2 grades for entry into the programme.
Graduate-entry programmes
