Module leader: Professor Antonia Layard
This module considers how commercial property deals are put together, drawing on both law and practice, using case studies and expert speakers from legal, property and planning practices whenever possible.
The module is one of the first of its kind and focuses on commercial property law, planning law, compulsory purchase and human rights. It provides an excellent foundation in commercial property for any student aiming to enter private practice as well as providing a critique of some aspects of regeneration and gentrification.
Methods of assessment
Modules on the LLM programmes will be assessed in one of the following ways. As this website is set up in advance, it is not possible to specify which method of assessment will be implemented for each module.
