In Nigeria there is a high premium placed on training in the UK as this is where you receive the best teaching and ethics of law. It is extremely beneficial to be trained at a UK university when looking for jobs as employers do rate the qualifications. I also looked at rankings after a friend recommended Birmingham and I found that the university is a very highly ranked and respected institution.

The campus is great, the redbrick buildings and general surrounds make you feel like you’re a part of history and you can imagine all the people who have been here in the past. There is a great mix of old and new across campus as you have the contrast of the historic buildings with new facilities and technology.

The quality of life is really good and the whole experience is really good value for money. One of my favourite things about Birmingham is the cultural diversity. I didn’t expect to see many Africans but there are people from all over the world living here and enjoying their experiences. I love the city and I’d really like to stay in Birmingham and work after I graduate.

The most up to date law materials and information from all around the world is at your fingertips at Birmingham. The course boasts brilliant professors who are at the very top of their chosen field which means that you get the benefit of their expertise. The style of learning means that the onus is very much on the student to put the effort in and there are no excuses as the university provides you with all the resources and opportunities you need to make a success of the course."
