During November's National Pro Bono Week, Shoosmiths' Birmingham office hosted the Birmingham Student Pro Bono Conference 2016, which was attended by over 70 students from university law schools across the city.

Last week, Dr Janine Clark travelled to Bosnia to pilot her new and innovative school-based scheme of discussing sexual violence in conflict with secondary school aged children. A specialist on sexual violence, transitional justice, and the Yugoslav conflict, Dr Clark here reflects on her visit and on the pilot project.
