Our conference encourages postgraduate researchers to offer their own reflections on the topic Regulating Behaviour: Law, Theory and Practice. The conference will allow postgraduates to present papers in an academic environment, with a focus on comparative and interdisciplinary perspectives, so as to provide an opportunity for postgraduates to experience and involve themselves in peer-to-peer discussion and debate.

We invited contributions from postgraduate researchers at any stage of research, in a variety of disciplines, with the express aim of learning from other academic approaches and sharing their own. The conference theme will encourage the exchange of ideas, reflecting on theoretical, legal and practical aspects to regulating the behaviour of, amongst others, individuals, states, international institutions, and companies.

Possible areas of inquiry include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Criminal Law
  • Public Law
  • International Law
  • Private Law
  • Jurisprudence

Postgraduate students are encouraged to submit proposals of no more than 300 words for 15-20-minute papers to uob.lawconf@gmail.com
