Supervisors: Astrid Sanders and Professor Marie Fox
LLB in Law with European Legal Studies, University of East Anglia
LLM in Family Law, University College London
I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2009 with a LLB in Law and European Legal Studies and went on to complete a LLM in Family Law, with a thesis on UK maternity and paternity rights. I then worked for a year in my hometown as a paralegal in a family law firm. In 2011, I came to Birmingham Law School as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant and PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr Astrid Sanders and Professor Marie Fox. My current research is focused on the reconciliation of caring and employment, with particular emphasis on how carers could be better accommodated within employment.
I research the reconciliation between employment and caring responsibilities. I focus particularly on how carers could be better accommodated within employment.
